How to find a Good Plumber

When you are looking for a good, reputable plumber, what is it you are looking for?  Customers are looking for a plumbing company that is reliable, will respond in an emergency situation, and won’t charge an “arm and a leg” for doing so.  So how does the average customer find this sort of plumber?

Word of mouth is usually the best way to find a plumber who cares about customer service and cares about doing a satisfactory job.  After all, it is those same satisfied customers that will refer their friends and family to a plumber when they have received exceptional service from that plumbing company.

A good plumbing company performs background checks on their employees to ensure that when they send an employee to a customer’s home, that employee is going to be trustworthy and only do the job they are sent to do. A good plumbing company will also offer warranties on the parts and labor the customer pays for.

How many years of experience does the plumber, who is being referred, have?  There are many plumbers that claim to have several years of experience, however, was this experience acquired at the apprentice level or as an experienced contractor?

These are all questions that need to be asked when interviewing the plumbing professional you call  Don’t be afraid to ask these types of questions as they are all very important and a reputable plumbing contractor, such as Plumb Perfect Plumbing won’t be offended to answer these questions.

When calling a plumbing expert, do they advertise that it is alright to call 24/7?  Will the customer receive the same service and knowledgeable answers to their questions at 3 A.M as at 3 P.M.; when a company advertises 24/7 service, they need to stand behind their advertisement.

The entire staff that works for the plumbing company needs to be knowledgeable and be able to understand exactly what the plumbing issue is, while talking to a customer on the phone, that way once the technician arrives on scene they can get started fixing the issue right away.

Quality, expert service is the number one priority when looking for a plumbing company. Not only does the plumbing company have quality employees that do quality work, they also use products that customers have grown to know and trust.

When there is a plumbing emergency that arises in someone’s home, it needs to be dealt with as such. No matter how small the issue may appear on the surface, it must be having a large impact on that customer’s life in order for them to be calling for help at the time of day/or night that they are calling.

No matter what the plumbing issue is; a sink that won’t drain, a toilet that won’t flush,
sewage that is backing up within the home; or even a total household sewage problem;  whatever the plumbing issue is, it is the responsibility of the plumbing company on call to make their customer feel confident that they can do the job and get their life (and plumbing) back in working order in as expedient a time frame as possible.
